The
courseware that is used for the ECDL training programme is
produced by CiA
Training, and is one of the sets of approved courseware
recommended by the British Computer Society.
CiA
has been committed to providing quality and user-friendly
ECDL/ICDL resources for a number of years. The products
have been written specifically to the syllabus and are designed
to steer the learner around the required software features
needed to pass the assessments.
Each
of the seven modules is covered by a separate spiral bound
book, designed to take the user through the skills sets required,
while the accompanying data cd helps to demonstrate the these
skills.

| Each
module is covered by a series of 'Driving Lessons' which take the
user step-by-step through the features covered in The European Computer
Driving Licence, using a combination of text and screenshots of the
various applications used. |

The
course manuals are supplied by Travel Matters Enterprises Ltd but
cannot be removed from the premises.
Candidates
wishing to study outside of the allotted training sessions or from
home would need to obtain their own copy of the courseware.
