is the ECDL?
The
European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL) is the
internationally recognized qualification which enables
people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills.
The
record breaking ECDL is the fastest growing IT user
qualification in over 125 countries.

ECDL
is designed specifically for those who wish to gain a benchmark
qualification in computing to enable them to develop their
IT skills and enhance their career prospects. No prior knowledge
of IT or computer skills is needed to study ECDL.

|
Who
is eligible to apply?
Trainees
already attending our main travel programme can automatically apply
to undertake ECDL training.
Candiates
who wish only to apply to study for the ECDL should meet the following
criteria:-
- Currently
recovering from a mental health problem
- Not
currently in full-time paid employment
- Resident
in East Surrey

ecdl training programme is assisted with funding from Surrey
Global Grants which supports local community and voluntary groups
who provide opportunities for people who are not in paid work and
live in targeted areas of Surrey to develop the skills and self-confidence
they need to progress towards paid work, voluntary work or training. |
