| Eligible
Candidates
An
eligible candidate will be an individual currently recovering from
a mental health problem and not in full-time paid employment who
resides in the East Surrey area.
Referral
Process
Upon
referral you will be asked to attend a short informal interview
at our premises in Redhill where you can assess if Travel Matters
is right for you and where we can assess if our training will be
of benefit to you.You will also be asked to complete an application
form and a short level-test will be arranged with an ECDL trainer
to establish your current IT experience and skill levels.
Upon
receipt of your completed application form , if successful, you
will be offered a training session on your preferred day/s depending
upon availability.
Currently
the ECDL sessions are run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in
am and pm sessions. The sessions last for 2hrs 15 minutes with a
15 minute break period.
Normally
you would expect to have a response within 3-5 working days of your
interview, with a proposed start date within 14 days of the offer
subject to availability.
Please
note that the training at Travel Matters is carried out in a supportive
environment and that the application procedure is nothing to be
concerned or apprehensive about.
